Trade Partners
Trade Partnerships are an exciting new feature of The Publican’s new look event for 2008. By working with the independent charities and not for profit organisations listed below, The Publican Food and Drink Awards are ensuring that a cross section of the industry is able to be involved with the awards. These bodies also bring their expertise and experience to the judging process, a further testament to The Publican’s credible awards schemes.

Benefits from The Trade Partners
Mystery Visiting
Each of the finalists will be mystery visited by one of our trade partners.
For Cask Ale Pub of the Year this process will actually begin prior to the shortlist being announced. After the initial paper judging has taken place, the top 20 pubs will be assessed by and announced visit by Cask Marque representative. These visits, along with original entry for will, determine which pubs make the final 4.
For Specialty Beer Pub of the Year, Beautiful Beer will be assessing each of the finalists in an announced inspection.
The Craft Guild Chefs will be sending its members out to each of the finalist outlets to mystery visit.
The mystery visit feedback will give each of the finalists an invaluable business overview.
